The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi (PKP) has an ongoing commitment to excellence which is reflected in its scholarships and awards programs. $1.4 million is awarded every two years to outstanding students. Phi Kappa Phi members and chapters through the Society's various awards competitions: the Fellowship, Phi Kappa Phi Scholar & Artist, Study Abroad Grants, Literacy Grants, Dissertation Fellowship, and Love of Learning.

Eligibility varies depending on award.

Study Abroad Grant
The PKP Study Abroad Grant is designed to help support undergraduates as they seek knowledge and experience in their academic fields by studying abroad.

Eligibility requirements: 
  • Must have a cumulative 3.75 or above GPA (3.74 does not qualify) 
  • Attend an institution with an active Phi Kappa Phi Chapter (UMKC has a chapter - applicants do not need to be a PKP individual member in order to apply)
  • Must have applied and/or been accepted into an approved study abroad program
  • Previous winners are not eligible to apply
