National Study Abroad Scholarship - James G. Stemler Study Abroad Scholarship (for Freshmen) (Scholarship Program)

Program Description:

This scholarship program is not run through the International Academic Programs office at UMKC. Therefore the APPLY NOW button has been removed. If you wish to apply to this scholarship program, please see information below.  

The Alpha Lambda Delta honors society invites Freshman students going on programs the following summer or academic year to apply by February 15. Students must work with the UMKC Alpha Lambda Delta Advisor as well as IAP.

Eligibility:

  • Must be initiated into the Alpha Lambda Delta honor society prior to Jan 1st (year of application)
  • Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher.
  • The student’s study abroad program must be taken through a US-based institution. Funds will not be sent to international institutions.
  • The student’s study abroad program must take place in the Summer 2017- Spring 2018 academic year.
